Learning Life Skills
The MAAP takes advantage of engaging activities and life skill development to enhance the lives of adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or individuals with comparable levels of behavior. MAAP is a behavioral health program that uses the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for adults who experience significant behavioral challenges. The ultimate goal of our day services for adults with autism, and individuals with similar behavioral challenges and diagnoses, includes working on skills that involve transitioning each individual to their higher level of independence and other services we offer, including Adult Self Programs, pre-employment training, or hourly support assistance.

We believe in a person-first approach. Before beginning services, we collaborate with the adult, their family, and their support team to identify their unique strengths, needs, and aspirations. The resulting plan is entirely customized to support their specific goals, whether that involves navigating the workplace, managing daily routines, or improving communication.
Yes. A core focus of our adult ABA services is to foster independence. We help individuals break down complex tasks—such as cooking, personal hygiene, or navigating public transportation—into manageable steps, providing the support and positive reinforcement needed to master these essential daily living skills.
