Contact UsNeeds-Based Residential Environment
RISE prioritizes person-centered support with client-led living options in our residential care services for adults with mental illness, traumatic brain injuries, and developmental disabilities. Depending on their needs, our staff assists and supervises clients within each home, for up to 24 hours, seven days a week. Residents make many of their own choices, including their daily schedules, personal space arrangements, and level of assistance. Our daily-living opportunities and practical skill support help each resident build autonomy, encourage self-confidence, and provide a sense of achievement.
Skills for Independent Living
Independent living is the goal for many who receive our residential services for adults with disabilities. As one of the leading traumatic brain injury facilities in St. Louis, we create Individual Care Plans for each client as their physical, mental, and intellectual needs are different. These plans may include supports such as:
- Choice of daily routines, living arrangements, and level of assistance.
- Personal care support with bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Transportation to and from appointments, activities, and social engagements.
- Skill-based learning opportunities.
- Food preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, budget management, and more.
