A key program we offer at RISE Services, Inc. Missouri is the Midwest Adult Autism Project (MAAP), a unique initiative that utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to foster life skills, personal growth, and independence in adults who experience behavioral challenges. MAAP offers daily support and guidance in sensory-supportive settings designed with sensory integration therapy in mind, reducing stress and creating a calm environment for skill development.
Participants not only learn practical skills for daily living but are also empowered to explore their interests and reach new levels of independence. MAAP’s program emphasizes meaningful activities and social engagement, with the goal for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar behavioral needs to transition to other RISE Services, Inc. programs.
